"The Bushwhacker" is a natural insect repellent, scented with eucalyptus, lemongrass, grapefruit, and citronella. It's a very clean and uplifting scent that will keep those bugs at bay while you're out to play! If you like Lemon heads, you're gonna love this!

Key differences between Balm and Wax:

Balm - Soft consistency, light natural hold, beard looks natural, healthy, and well kept. Applies effortlessly to hair and skin and absorbs quickly so you don't notice anything in your beard. Best for daily use for a healthy beard.

Wax - Medium to hard consistency, thicker feel, medium natural hold, beard looks styled. Lanolin has been added to the formula to offset the higher wax content and still provide deep conditioning properties. Harder to apply all the way to the skin and absorbs slowly. Best for styling before going out for the night, or for a deep conditioning after a long day in the elements.

Both the balm and wax can be used at the same time, just use the balm first to strengthen the hair and condition the skin. Then apply the wax for a well groomed, styled look.

All Natural Ingredients - Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, Pure Vitamin E, Tea Tree Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Rosemary Oil, and Essential and/or Fragrance Oils for scent.

  1. Scrape a pea-sized amount of balm per inch of hair using the guitar pick (supplied). A little goes a long way, start with less.
  2. Rub between palms until completely melted.
  3. Apply to beard, massage down into hair and skin. Ensure there is very little left on your hands when done - your hair should absorb the balm.
  4. Brush through to evenly distribute product and remove excess, comb to style and shape.

"It does just as the copy says, "It keeps bugs away. " The beard balm has a pleasant scent and I really didn't pay attention to the lack of bugs. One day during the summer I dropped the bottle of Bushwacker oil and some spilled on my foot. Later that day I was walking through grass with some others.
